ADMISSIONS TO THE VETERINARY PROGRAM – UNIVERSITY OF ADELAIDE
This article is posted for and on behalf of the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, The University of Adelaide.
The School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences would like to extend an invitation for veterinary surgeons to become involved in the student selection process for entry to the veterinary science program. Applicants for the Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience) at the University of Adelaide are required to complete a questionnaire and if eligible, are then invited to attend an interview. This selection process has been adopted to assist in ensuring that the School selects students who have the attributes that are needed to be an integral member of the veterinary profession.
The School welcomes expressions of interest from veterinary surgeons to assist with the interview process. Interviews will be conducted in person, face to face at the University of Adelaide’s Roseworthy Campus.
Interviews will occur from 11 December 2017 to 15 December 2017. Potential interviewers will also be asked to attend a training session which will be scheduled in November (options and venues to be advised). Minimum commitment for interviews is approximately 4 hours (including refreshment breaks and lunch).
The interviews have been extremely successful and the School has had some really positive feedback from both the interviewers and the applicants.
